Helping Internally Displaced Persons

The International Committee on Nigeria (ICON) is helping internally displaced persons (IDPs) to return home, but we need your help.

Millions of Nigerians remain displaced due to the ongoing genocide, religious hostilities and pervasive insecurity. Officially, there are an estimated 3.6 million IDPs in Nigeria, but ICON believes that there actually over 5 Million IDPs (i.e. official camps, unofficial habitations, or informal collective settlements).

Continued insecurity, corruption, and injustice, have hindered IDPs in any hope to return home. As ICON advocates for those persecuted and vulnerable Nigerians, we asking that the Nigerian government to protect every Nigerian. ICON is providing the opportunity for IDPs to return home, in order to rebuild their lives.
