Millions of Nigerians remain displaced due to the ongoing genocide, religious hostilities and pervasive insecurity. The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) estimates that there are 3.6 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Nigeria, but ICON Estimates that there over 5 Million IDPs (i.e. official camps, unofficial habitations, or informal collective settlements).
As ICON continues to advocate for Nigerians we are also gathering data and testimonies of atrocities. We have captured several touching and startling testimonies from several of our volunteers across Nigeria.
