Richard Ikiebe
Dr. Richard Ikiebe is a peace builder and a faith-based social justice organiser. He currently serves as the President and Chairman of the Board of the International Organisation for Peace Building and Social Justice, (PSJ), a sister organisation to ICON-USA. A former pastor and church planter, Ikiebe has served as a national coordinator for a non-denominational bipartisan coalition of pastors – Church for Change which strove to engage politicians and church leaders on the platforms of peace, ethical politics and ethnic reconciliation.
Ikiebe also currently holds the position of Senior Fellow and Director of the Centre for Leadership in Journalism at the Pan-Atlantic University. Ikiebe has an exceptional range of experience in public communication and investment promotions. Ikiebe has held several high government positions in Nigeria, including, Special Adviser in the Presidency. As a former Executive Director/CEO of the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce, he has remained active in the Nigerian business community.
Currently Dr. Ikiebe is the Chairman of the Board of Businessday Newspaper, Nigeria’s leading daily financial newspaper, as well as the Chairman of the Board of TechpointAfrica, an online media organisation focused on technology and startups news.
