Pastor Joe Durham

Pastor Joe Durham became a Christian in 1970 and then as a junior in high school, God gave him a clear call to serve the body of Christ in pastoral ministries. Pastor Joe was ordained for the Gospel Ministry by his home church Eastside Baptist Church of Riverdale Georgia in 1983. Pastor Joe received his BA from Mercer University in Atlanta in 1984 and his master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. He is currently in the final stages of completing his Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice College and Seminary.

Pastor Joe is currently serving as the pastor of the Fairview Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Georgia. Pastor Joe and his family have also served in fulltime missions for a period of 7 years and has been able to train pastors and leaders in many countries throughout Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. He is the Founder and Director of a mission’s organization called Partnerships for Unreached People. This P4UP mission ministry began in 2003 and continues today. P4UP was instrumental in the formation and early development of ICON.
